The Easter Masterclass

This past weekend the sun was shining, the Easter bunny had delivered and we kicked off our very first Easter Masterclass..

I am beyond grateful to each and every guest who attended and traveled far and wide (even from Canada!) to spend the day at our home. It was a full day of interiors, amazing food and drink, conversation and so much more. A huge thank you to our partners, Cloudy Bay, In The Roundhouse, Sonos, Range Rover and so many others who helped put this special event on.

The Wine

Thank you Cloudy Bay for sharing your exquisite wine with us, providing your new look Sauvignon Blanc 2022, Pinot Noir and Pelorous Rose which perfectly matched our garden lunch menu, and matched the sunshine garden tour with crystal glass in hand.

Jules Sebastian

It was a dream to have my friend Jules Sebastian be a part our day to discuss our mutual love for all things style, entertaining and ‘festive holidays’. Jules' passion, energy and entertaining tips (hello Vodka, Baileys Chocolate cocktail — see her Instagram) added such a special element to the day and we are beyond grateful.

The Table Setting

My long time friends In The Roundhouse provided their dreamy new dinner and tableware collection, Scallop. We used the Green Scalloped Dining Set for our tablescape demonstration, along with custom linen tablecloth and scallop napkins, and the white
Scalloped Dining Set for our beautiful lunch on the front lawn.

The Music

Thank you to our partner Sonos for creating the background music with the most amazing sound from the Era 100 and Era 300 speakers. It’s no secret music is a huge part of my everyday life, so it only felt right to have my Vintage Italian summer playlist be the background all our guests.

The Cars

And of course to my partner Range Rover for providing all our guests to arrive in style in the luxury Range Rover fleet.

The Food

I am so lucky to have my sister Amanda from The Cordony Kitchen and House & Garden Food Editor sharing the kitchen with Katie from Groundstone in Orange to treat guests to the most incredible Easter feast, using produce from the Rosedale Garden.

The Setting

The lunch table was set with a custom table cloth from Domestic Textiles, using the Arboretum collection ‘Oaknut Stripe’ in Botanical green by Sanderson, which was the starting point for the lunch tablescape.

Simply Seated provided the perfect furniture and event hire pieces to be able to bring the whole vision to life, with bamboo chairs, crystal glassware and a chic bar cart which we transformed into our dessert wonderland.

My long time friends Montauk Lighting Company have fille the house with the beautiful lighting, so it felt fitting to keep the theme going outside under our marquee with the most gorgeous Darlana pendant lighting which created a special mood for our guests during lunch.

The Styling

Thank you also to Blanche Rose for your gorgeous bedlinen we used to create our bed styling demonstration, Lucy Montgomery collection for your heaven cushions, Breville for keeping us caffeinated throughout the day and P Johnson tailors for providing my looks for the weekend.
