The Autumn Masterclass
Thank you so much for joining me at Rosedale Farm for The Autumn Masterclass presented by Le Creuset.
Being able to create an experience to share with friends, both new and old, is something I will be forever grateful for, and I hope you had the most special day creating memories to last a lifetime.
A huge thank you to our headlining partner Le Creuset and our supporting partners Range Rover and Cultiver who I have had the pleasure of working with on various projects since I started my styling career. Creating this event was full circle and a joy to create and work with the design led brands for Autumn.
We welcomed guests to Rosedale Farm over three days, and were beyond lucky with the most special Autumn weather imaginable. The sun was shining as guests arrived, moving past the Range Rover Sport, the horses and the rust coloured oak trees.
On the front lawn, we had a special morning tea served on Le Creuset dinnerware, while coffee and tea was served to fuel up for a styling tour-de-force.
After a brief hello from Ebony and Brave, our shire horses, it was onto the first presentation of the day, sharing all of my interior tips and tricks, taking guests through my career and the Rosedale Farm journey before heading to the Rosedale Guest house to share how to style a chic bed with Cutliver bed linen.
From there, we moved inside to the lounge room which was bare, and slowly layered to space with lamps, cushions from Cultiver, styling objects and accessories, rugs from Cadrys and scenting elements from Santa Maria Novella and Trudon.
After the room was complete, guests were let loose throughout the house for a tour of each and every space, before being inspired for the change of season, demonstrating how to style a decadent layered tablescape using Le Creuset’s Coupe collection in the Flint colour way.
From there, guests wandered over the pool area and Orangery to enjoy a decadent Autumn feast created nay Amanda from The Cordony Kitchen. The table was set in an array of rust and burgundy tones, heroing this year’s new Le Creuset colour RHONE, with the table set with stoneware.
The table was styled with a custom velvet tablecloth, Autumn tone dahlias, and abundant fruits and vegetables, along with black candles and cut crystal glassware.
After lunch, guests headed to the first dessert tent, where Amanda demonstrated how to make my favourite dessert of all time, chocolate mousse, with Koko Black. You can create this recipe too!
After learning all of the tips and tricks from Amanda and also the Le Creuset team on how to get the best out of your cookware, we then wandered over to the vegetable garden to meet the second dessert tent which was addend with chocolate mousse, cakes, fruits form the garden, tarts and flans for a decadent afternoon tea.
After a garden tour in the sunshine, guests left with our most special gift bags yet.
I believe just as we have our own personal scent, so too should our homes, and having Santa Maria Novella as our scenting partner to create the magical intangible scent through the day was magic. Some of my favourite products include the Melagrano terracotta pomegranate, the liquid soap and cream and room fragrance. We also had my personal home scent wafting through the house with the La Promenuse diffuser by Trudon in Ernesto.
Guests were treated to champagne by our partner Moet Chandon, Santa Vittoria Water and a menu created by Amanda Cordony of The Cordony Kitchen. Katie from Groundstone was on hand with the fabulous event team to create a unique dining experience through the day.
The Autumn menu featured Lamb shoulder with butter bean puree and herbs, slow cooked ragu, gnochetti and ricotta salata, white fish with herbs and yuzu and rocket pecorino salad and roast potatoes.
The dessert table was filled with chocolate mousse served in Le Creuset petite casseroles, fragipane tarts, chocolate flourless cake, lemon poppyseed cake and Rosedale fruits.
Fitting in with the country aesthetic, my long term partner Range Rover had the latest Range Rover
Sport on display showcasing modern luxury which echoed the sentiment of the day, creating a special event filled with design know-how and modern luxury.
Fitting in with the monochrome theme, the black and white Range Rover sport was turned into an abundant giftorium, as guests departed, taking with them a sleek gift bag filled with some of my very favourite things.
My favourite part of hosting events is being able to give guests something to take home with them to remember the day, and all the items in our luxe gift bag are a snippet of what I love.
A huge thank you to New Directions for the printing of our custom gift bags, Le Creuset, Cultiver, Rationale, House & Garden Magazine, Venroy, Truff, The Montauk Lighting Co, Santa Maria Novella, Frank Green, Koko Black and Leif.
Biggest thank you to everyone involved for bringing together our very special Autumn Masterclass.
We are so looking forward to seeing you all again, so stay tuned for the next announcement of events!
